Our commitment
Onole Kae is a digital heritage and memory archive operated by TsaQwaQwa/YaQwaQwa. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAE and CSAM are prohibited throughout the Onole Kae app, website, and related services.
What we prohibit
Users must not create, upload, share, request, promote, or distribute content or engage in behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes CSAM, sexual grooming, sexualisation of a minor, sextortion, and trafficking or solicitation involving a child.
CSAM includes any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, including photographs, videos, and computer-generated imagery. This prohibition applies regardless of the format, visibility setting, or audience selected for the content.
Reporting concerns
If you encounter content or behaviour that may involve CSAE or CSAM, please report it in the Onole Kae app using the available reporting or support mechanism, or contact our child safety point of contact at safety@tsaqwaqwa.co.za. Please do not download, forward, or otherwise share suspected CSAM.
If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement straight away. Reports to Onole Kae are not a substitute for an emergency response.
How we respond
When Onole Kae obtains actual knowledge of suspected CSAM or CSAE, we review the report and take appropriate action under our standards and applicable law. This may include restricting access to, removing, or preserving relevant content and taking action against the associated account where appropriate.
Legal reporting
Onole Kae will comply with applicable child-safety laws and maintains a process to report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, as applicable. We may also cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
Child safety contact
The designated child safety point of contact for Onole Kae and TsaQwaQwa/YaQwaQwa is safety@tsaqwaqwa.co.za. This contact can receive potential CSAE notifications from Google Play and can coordinate review and enforcement action.
